Aside from obvious reasons, the holocaust, the world war, He made Stalin even more paranoid, and that alone set the stage for the cold war.
See, a Trotsky or a Lenin we could have worked with, to avoid fighting a 3rd war, just after the 2nd. Because of Hitler, breaking his word with Stalin, it sent stalin over the edge. He eliminated all the rivals we could have worked with mediate the end of WW2.
And maybe even avoided the cold war altogether.
His legacy lived on for another 40 - 50 years or so. And lets not talk about the arabs that worked with the 3rd reich.

Let me ask you a question first. Are you just trying to get people upset and riled up?

If you are really sincere in your question, then I suggest you take some history classes.

Hitler promised to help the German people (all of them). Then he took away the rights of the jews living in germany. After that, he took away many of the right of all Germans. Then if that wasn't enough he dragged germany and many other nations into a bloody war that was waged across the entire globe. He also conducted horrible experiments on human subjects. But this is only a brief summary. GO TO SCHOOL!!!!

Unfortunately for you, if he were alive and around you, he probably would have had you killed just for calling him a "dawg". *tsk tsk* You know exactly what you are doing, trying to start an arguement, and you are not down with Hitler. You probably know very little about him, and are just saying such an idiotic thing because you have nothing better to do...Did you know that he wanted to be a painter before becoming a crazy dictator? Did you also know he stole his arm pose from Cheerleaders? Thats right folks.

He was one of the most diabolical , if not the most diabolical person in history. If you want to have a picnic for facist , evil dictators don't forget --Sadam, Stalin, Kim Jon-il to name a few. Just don't invite Jewish, , gypsies, mentally and physically deformed people, they might wind up on the that bbq grill.
Furthermore, lets run this past my 89 year old mother who lived in Belgium during WWII. If you don't understand why people hate Hitler, I am sure she would gladly let you know, after she smacks you up side the head a few times.

I don't hate him. What I did not entirely agree with is the fact that he tried to exterminate people in his own country that did not fit a profile. His idea of a perfect race.

In the meantime, he attempted this in the most barbaric ways imaginable.

He tried to force that concept on other nations too.

He was a more historic version of the KKK.

because whilst he did do some great things, industrialise germany, built motors ways and united germany in an effort to bring them out of depression and end hyper inflation,

he was the key starter of the holocaust and world war II, he slaughtered countless people based on Religion ( jewish people typically) sexuality ( yes, if you were gay you'd be subjected to the same treatement) individuality ( rock was effectivley banned, it was a militaristic state). and he attempted to take over europe by bombing everyone.

anyone that wasn't blonde, blue eyed, and german, straight etc, was not part of the aryan race, therefore they are sub-perfect and discriminated against.

Dear friend, I was born over there when he was still in charge you have no idea how much we suffered. He started off creating jobs and doing away with political correctness and most people saw it as a good development. But absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Hitler was a brilliant man who brought the German economy to its feet. The only problem was that he was insane and thought that only people who were of German ancestry deserved to live.
