The biggest ever robbery is one that is fairly little known(probably for fairly good reasons) - and occurred in City of London in 1990 - a small time petty thief by the name of Patrick Thomas stole £292m in bonds from a financial messenger. Thomas was later found shot before he could be charged. As far as I know this is both Britain's and the world's biggest robbery.
There is also, I believe a case being investigated involving Hazim Shaalan, and ex-Iraqi minister, concerning the disappearance of some £500m from the country's defence budget. As far as I know, no-one has been charged, and there is not definitive proof that the money has 'disappeared' as such.

The greatest crime is what Judus did to Jesus Christ. When he turned him over to the high Priest and to the Guards. He was sold as a mere slave to the Romans. This was the Greatest Crime. The Crime of betrayal and false testimony of someone who has did no wrong, a person with Innocent blood.

The greatest crime in history is crucifying Jesus.
The blue devil reference is older than even Denzel knows, and is used often by the Nation of Islam and the un-honorable Lois Fara-con.
The origin of the races will be known someday; and we are all guilty of retrogression....... more or less..
The blue devil did not originate from Hitlers atrocities.
Peace........

In my opinon the greatest crime to humanity was and is the genocide of a people group. It is happening all over the world with Rwanda being the latest victim. Also the president of Iran wants to wipe out the Jewish people. Also Hussien was trying to wipe out alot of people in Iraq because he deemed them as unclean.

There is no "greatest" crime. All crimes against humanity are equally abhorrent. Throughout the history of mankind, we have had several genocides (the Armenian genocide, the Holocaust, the genocide in Rwanda etc). Non is worse than the other, any taking of life (be it one life or several million lives) based on race, gender or religion is equally criminal.
PS:- Slavery and similar oppression are also serious crimes against humanity, but, IMHO are less severe than killing people.
