when and where is a good web site that has pictures on how to trim a tree?

Better to trim in the winter. In the winter the sap doesnt run and wheep when you trim the braches. It's better for the tree that way. Because it's in a way, like bleeding. Better to wait until winter unless you really have to do it

If it's decidous, the winter time is best or when it is dormant. I believe summer is the worst, with fall next and then spring. Good luck

Dormancy is the best time. January and February being the best, just before spring.
