Is it alright to take a shower during menses? If no then please explain why not? Can an expert answer please.Thanks

It's not that I don't shower in periods.Infact I've showered more in those days but somewhere I read that because the temperature of the body changes when you are menstruating so it can be harmful.I just wanted some expert to clarify this.

There is no reason why you shouldn't shower during your menses. You would probably want to shower more. :)

I am a 36 yr old women and in good health and
have taken a shower daily while on my menses!
I'm not an expert ,just speaking from experience!

I have never heard of not being able to take a shower during menstruation. Menstruation is strictly internal, of course, and showering is basically running water over your skin. It would never cause any sort of disturbance in you menstruation cycle.

Why would you think it was not ok :) we need more details on your questions. Did somebody tell you that it is bad? I believe you should take baths. When you sit down in tub you period temporarily stops until you get out.

Most of the people are saying you should in other words. Im a guy, but i have heard a girl say it isnt until its not to heavy? so i guess its a valid question.
