I have been ordering plants from Spring Hill Nursery for years now. You might want to check out their website and order a free catalog.

The usually have very reasonable prices and have gardens already put together with a plan on how to lay everything out.

I am ordering tons of things from them this week. The plants are not big when they come to you, but they are full size within 1-2 years so I don't mind waiting for them to come in. They also have a 100% guarantee that has no expiration, so if one of the plants doesn't come back even 5 years from now, you can get a new one on them!

In the meantime, the cheapest, easiest way to fill in a yard with flowers is to just buy a mix of seeds from Walmart for about $9.00 and sprinkle them all over where you want to fill in the bare spots. By July, you will have flowers everywhere!

Definetely need trees. I would get a good shade tree and several ornamental trees. This will make a big difference. I'd then think about flower beds. Plant some evergreen shrubs, some flowering shrubs, and lots of color from bulbs and annuals.

i just recently put down some cherry tone timbers and made a walkway..filled it with gravel and put down stepping stones..found a cute sundial and tiki torches. also i bought a stepping stone mold on ebay to make my own. some solar lights work great too..and if ya get real inspired, you can get a small pond liner and make a little pond with gold fish.
