Groups and artists that come to mind are Rush (currently touring), Genesis (currently touring, Huey Lewis & The News (coming to my area soon), James Taylor (saw a couple of years ago) and Jimmy Buffet (probably tour this summer).

Good luck!! have a great time. I'm a band geek too, lol... In highschool I played trumpet and french horn in the band and orchestra, as well as percussion. And in college, I play the french horn and mellophone. (and drums still on the side) but other than in band, I play guitar, ukulele, piano, and drums. Edit: 150, and 60 kids isn't small! We had about 30 in my highschool's advanced band. But we were amazing! I went to a small arts school.
