I always get told never to wear a T-shirt with the band I'm going to see, but I really want to know why there seems to be a nerd-stamp on wearing one?

there isn`t, i honestly don`t know where u heard that...i have worn the band shirts many times to shows of the sane band...what a ridiculous thing this "rule" u mentioned!!! wear what u want!!! christ!!! i think when u wear the band`s shirt, it shows how much of a fan u are & how much u support the band!!! don`t pay attention to those silly "rules"!!!

Mostly because if you wear the shirt of the band you are going to see you look like a poseur. Everyone knows you already like the band, you are at their concert, wearing their shirt is like sucking up and trying to fit in too much.
Unless, of course, your other shirt got ripped in the mosh pit and you had to put the new one you bought on. Thats alright, but no one would really know that.

I actually have a Rolling Stones t-blouse for the excursion of the Americas 1975. It has an eagle with wings that have jet engines. Very cool!!! That became the 1st 12 months I observed them so it has value for me. And no, i did not even if it in 1975. i offered 3 of them in 2000 whilst they have been on the industry on thie web site.

it looks like you are trying too hard to show everyone you like this band, when you are already at the show, it just seems like too much.

because they sell t-shirts of the band there . and if you ware one there you won't buy a new one from them.
