Numerous times. There are ghost towns all over the Western US.
They're not that exciting, because the food in the cupboards is always stale.
I lived in a suburban deserted house for about a week, as a teenager. We ran out of money for food, so one of the girls (there were 5 boys and 3 girls), volunteered to go across the street, to our high school, and try to sneak some food out of the cafeteria. The principal spotted her in the building, and we got busted.
I was lectured by the cops and released. Two of my friends were charged, pled guilty to criminal trespassing, and plea-bargained themselves into some easy community-service deal.

yep, even found one that was dug into the side of a hill, with rocks building up the walls, about 2 feet above ground level so that when you walked in yo didnt hit your head on the doorway. it was about 10 feet by 12 feet and had a stone fireplace at the very back. you could tel the roof was just some board that had sod on them , but was mostly rotted away... Inside was what was left of a mattress (springs mostly) and a tiny table.
this was realy cool to she how people lived

many years in the past a set of toddlers discovered money hidden in the walls of an abandoned domicile...it became 1000's, the deceased proprietor became kind of a recluse and did not have self assurance in using a economic company. i have not discovered some thing similar...Nazi uniforms, a diary, prosthetic limbs. i found mind count slides at an abandoned psychological well being center. a pal discovered the corpse of a homeless guy behind an abandoned domicile, he had iced up to lack of life the previous wintry climate.

Once on a hike. It was awesome. And chainsaw killers only live in deserted houses in RE4. And they only attack Leon Kennedy. Trust me.

yes,there are many around this area in the countryside,some intact,some falling down...some locals go what they call "pilfering" which is going thru the houses to see what they can find & take..
Odd hobby ey?We did have a shotgun pointed at us once when we came out of a house once,the old farmer didn't appreciate us being there...Heck I just went out behind it to piss,but I think I pissed some more when I saw that shotgun! =)

it wasent really out in the middle of nowhere but there used to be this really old rundown orphanage in some small woods by my house! me and all me friends went in...it was really scary but so much fun! i think it bein an orphanage made it a scaryer !

Yea there is one by my friends house and we went in it and night and then our other friend said 'what if there is like someone hiding in here, like a rapist' then we freaked out and ran away. I don't think I have ever ran that fast in my life.

Yes, and it is so much fun, the house down the road with a silo that has tipped over...the kids put *Flash* on it, and I had them convinced that it was haunted.
