I love podcasts and they are beginning to become my primary news source. I'm looking for new podcasts that are about world news and current events, pop culture, and technology. Humorous or satirical podcasts are also great.

If you have any podcasts you listen to and highly recommend, I want to hear about it.

Some I enjoy:
NPR podcasts (Talk of the Nation, Wait Wait Don't Tell me)
PRI podcasts (America Abroad, Studio 360)
Tech podcasts (Digg, This Week in Tech)
And of course, NPR's This American Life

My two favorites are "The Skeptics Guide to the Universe" and "Savage Love". They are both available for free on iTunes.

Savage Love is a sex/relationship advice column from the long-time culmnist Dan Savage. It's very entertaining and informative. It comes out weekly and runs between 20 and 25 minutes.

Skeptics Guide is a science- and logic-centered program that deals with science- and logic-related issues. It covers advances as well as a low-key debunking of supernatural phenomena. It sounds dry, but it's really very informative and entertaining. It's especially informative for those who are tired of how supernatural phenomena are taken for granted in so many areas of our culture. It is put out weekly and lasts between 60 and 85 minutes (which is a bit long).

Enjoy!
