It's obvious he's not going home tonight or any time soon. I can't stand watching him. I think he's finally figured out that everyone doesn't like him so he's milking it for all it's worth. I have enjoyed the show every year up until now. I feel embarassed for him every week.

Obviously he's milking it. I would also. Look at William Hung, sadly he sings worse than Sanjaya. What you people do not realise is that American Idol stopped being a singing contest a long time ago. It is not a entertainment contest.
Only in the end of each season, the final 3, is when the show is a singing contest, but by then, some of the good singers were already voted off.
But also, it's all about money. And because of things like Sunjaya, more vieweres are being pulled in to see "why's everyone crying about him not leaving". Therefore, American Idol/FOX do not give a crap about the fact the fact that he's still on there.

This whole Sanjaya thing is so strange, I don't watch American Idol, but I do get Sanjaya news by osmosis. He should wear a viking helmet, then get some singing cats to jump through hoops and then end it off by setting his pubic hair on fire! Now, THAT would be a show!

I think he's going to at least make it in to the tope five, which is insane b/c it's mostly from howard stern. All the more reason for everyone to vote for other people they like.
I did used to think he was talented, but needed a lot of practice. But the way he is being is so funny, I can't take him seriosly at all. I hope he doesn't ruin the show and this is the last year, I do still like it, although this year is so different, and no one on it is really grabbing my attention.

Well! Actually people are starting to feel sorry for him,it's like when you see those disasters films where people are fleeing from their homes to escape the big storm or something,everybody votes just to see what hair-do he'll have the next week! But my opinion is the American Idol will be a Women this year!

I feel that embarassement too! I literally wince when he starts singing n "dancing." I've thought he should bow out of the show but just think about it...he's a 17 yr old kid! he n his friends n family truly believe he is talented n this is a chance of a life time. It would b hard for anyone to give that up, much less a kid. A.I. has to do SOMETHING, and fast!
he should wear bunny ears, like me! lol!

the viking hat might make him entertaining..........no i don't think even that would do it! maybe a paper bag? he needs to be off of the show! all of the people that go before him are being flat out robbed! i hate this season, i might not watch anymore! i don't really like anyone but Lakisha (spelling?) she sings good!
