Okay I have a 1991 Chevy beretta, and I just started a new job, and I will need to take the expressway about 15 to 20 minutes every morning to get there. Is driving a 91 on the express way bad for my car? if so, why? plus the potholes in the road, can they crack parts under your car, or shake something loose?

A 1991 is not that old.......if it has been maintained. Unless there is something wrong with your car, there should be no problem (and if there is something wrong, you should not be driving it at all) .A nice run like this is probably better for your car than a two minute drive to the 7/11 (or whatever)
Big potholes and high speed can be rough, but they are part of driving life. If you can miss them ,good. but if that means you have to swerve crazily , then grit your teeth and drive through.
