I understand that Hillary was able to put the money that was left over from her Senate campaign into her Presidential campaign.
Considering that, did Obama actually pull in more money than Clinton?

Hillary Clinton and all of the presidential candidates HAVE to report all the money they have collected. They cannot hold any of it back and declare it again. The FEC can simple get the amounts in their bank accounts and that can lead to trouble.
The proof will be in the breakdown of the funding.
Obama collected $25 million while Hillary had $26 million however, we will know once they have analyzed everything if
a) most of Hillary's money came from big contributors who gave the maximum and therefore she will need to find new sources of funding. It will show if she has a small base will large pockets
b) If Obama collected small amounts which added up to the total wherein he has a big base with small contributions. This scenario works better because he can tap those sources again and again until they reach the maximum amount they can contribute.

It's called fund raising. His handlers put him in the right places at the right times. Perhaps the tide is changing and Ms Clinton is losing popularity while Mr. Obama is gaining. It is getting interesting.

If I were forced at gunpoint to vote for a Democrat president - it would have to be Obama.. I certainly hope he's doing better than Clinton because I'd seriously consider moving out of the country if she were elected!

Ah the great American delusion that OPEC is a few evil beast. A fantasy that persists in spite of the fact that OPEC controls in ordinary terms a million/3appx of the worlds oil. meaning they do no longer administration the industry they only take a coordinated place to attempt to maximize the earnings that they get for their finite organic aspects.
