Rumor has it that he wants to buy The Cubs so that he can move The White Sox to Wrigley Field, and put The Cubs at U.S. Celluar Field.

Wouldn't that be funny?
And how many Cub fans would be able to tell the difference???

Are you saying that Cub fans only go so they can drink overpriced beer then share the bathtub called the Wrigley Field urinals?
It would be funny.

I haven't heard that but that would be pretty funny. Since i am a White Sox fan and have never been to Wrigley, that would be really awkward. The Cell is the only place I've seen the Sox play. I think it would be weird to see the sign in the front with the White Sox on it. But with the brick and ivy walls, I still can't envision the White Sox playing 81 games, and maybe more there. But that is something I newver would have thought of. Nice question!

The buyer of the Tribune Company, Sam Zell, is one of the partners who owns the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox along with Jerry Reinsdorf.

He's said he plans to sell off the Cubs after the Tribune deal goes through.

From what I've read, real-estate expert Sam Zell is buying all of Tribune, and therefore is buying the Cubs as well.
