I bet your key board is against the wall that has a closed window above your computer. It's normal for things to cool down at night, but your mind merely interpreted it as unusual because you didn't take it into account.
In your subconscious mind, this cold temp above your keyboard comes in the form of a forbidden message that you should not be on your computer after your bed time.
Your parent (maybe a father figure) usually enforced the rules for bed time after a certain time at night, so you have an unconscious expectancy that they are supposed to be there to chastise you for being up so late. In affect, you have the feeling like you are being watched.
Why is that parent not there? Did your parents get a divorce? Are they separated?
When did the atmosphere get more lax for you and your sister at home?

The top contributor who has first answered your question is a fool. Spirits do exist in the 21st century.
May be there are some spirits as you say. The other is a natural human phenomena. When you see horror movie & sleep, you feel that the things going around in the movie is real and you feel haunted. Your house isn't haunted but that spirit definitely is. That spirit wants to convey you something or it is the natural phenomena of the humans according to the psychiatrist in my case. Here's my story.
One night, I slept alone in the house & felt that some thin hand scratching my back. I was enjoying and didn't are about it. Next day morning, I realised the whole matter and ran to the psychiatrist with my mom. He explained the thing.

The only way to really know, beyond what strangers over the internet have to say other than their assumtions based on what you have written here, is to do some research on the house you reside in and have questions about. That too, only goes so far when the history doesn't give you clues about what you are feeling presently. Ask yourself if you, yourself believe what you have presented is true. Only you can answer that!

Some people (including some of the respondents above) are so eager to believe in paranormal phenomena that they will be very quick to explain any change in tempurature or "spooky feeling" as evidence for the existence of the paranormal. It's as if they won't bother to check for the normal explanations for such things, they jump right to the paranormal explanation.
Such thinking was prevalent back in the early days of humankind - we didn't have scientific concepts to explain things we didn't understand so we called it "spirits," "voodoo," or "ghosts." Fortunately we know better now.
Let me suggest you apply what is known as Occam's Razor to your question. The most obvious, simplest explanation for what you are observing is probably the correct one. It is much simpler to assume a breeze or a cold spot than use that evidence to surmise a whole realm of spirit worlds, spooks and ghosts.
If such a realm existed it would take far stronger evidence than that to prove its existence.

It could very well be possible. Did the cold breeze seem chillin to the bone cold and all at once, kinda outta no where?, did u lose anyone recently?, or do you know the history of your house before u lived there? you never know..., you'll see and feel more strange things than that if ur house is haunted....,you'll think your going crazy, trust me I've seen, and have experienced, along with other witnessess the paranormal is very real!!!, and quite challenging, just try not to let it know your scared, and maybe it will leave....that is if its not all in your minds....normally, you'll see things that have to do with electronics., they love to screw with the energy from like say-microwaves, tv's, lights, clocks, electric coffee pots, it's like their energy....
Don't be scared, if it gets to scary, you could go to a Catholic priest, and ask him to bless your home...Good-Luck...

No, you're just paranoid. Air isn't uniform, there are hot and cold patches, like in water. No one is watching you, unless there's another person in the house or a survalience camera. There's no such thing as ghosts.

well first take a look at your surroundings...see if there is anything that might be causing the cold spot....the eerie feeling of being watched is prolly because your now filled with that paranoia due to the cold spot...otherwise your screwed because ghosts or whatever are freaky but awsome...ooo try talking to it or them...

Always respect yourself and follow your first mind. Everthing happens for a reason. Yes there are spirits walking around each second of the day..Some are good and some are bad..Sometimes our Creator allows things to happen, or allow us to become aware of certain things, to get our attention to turn to him..Once we turn our lives over to GOD we will realize we have all power over evilness. Send me an email and I will send you a prayer to teach you how to submit your life over to the LORD. Always remember, "everything happens for a reason".
