Honey, I think you wanting to help your mom is so sweet and so kind, but you are only 15. I know, I hated hearing that when I was 15, but I don't hate it now. I wish I was still 15, not a worry in the world, and that's how you should be. I am sure your mother wouldn't want to worry so much about her. You being there to comfort her in this hard time is enough help. You progressing in school, having fun, having the time of your life, is comfort enough for her. If you believe, just pray. Everything will turn around. God only gives us what we can handle. That's the truth.

Isn't there some kind of record, or proof your mom can get ahold of to prove she went to school for those things? I suppose you could get a job somewhere like a fast food place, or babysit when you have the chance...and write your mom a little note or something letting her know how much you love her and care about her...it might brighten her day a little bit.

You could always work at McDonalds...
You could baby sit, pawn stuff, cook at home instead of going out to eat.
Do things around the house that are positve and will give your mom a sense of happines. Make her bed up for her, clean up without being asked, cook dinner for her, watch a comedy with her, tell her about a book your reading or about drama going on at your school. Anything to make her laugh and put a smile on her face.

Being a mother of a teenage daughter myself,I must say you are a good one.You obviously love your mother and as long as you keep letting her know that, you are doing good. As your mom told you , you need to concentrate on school and maybe babysit or get a very part-time job if you still feel you need to help her out.

I feel for you.. But the best way to help is to continue to get good grades in school.. It you can spare a small part time job, do so.. But your grades should come first.. You are a great daughter..
