Um...no it won't. If you eat the pen it might though.

Although I am not an expert, I have never heard of anyone getting sick from writing on their hand or any other body part for that matter. Smoking is a dirty habit that invades your lungs, heart and blood stream. No way will writing on your hands do that.

If you used toxic ink, maybe that would be a possibility, but that's a little far fetched.

It's not as bad as smoking, since there are no addictive chemicals in ink. My high school chemistry teacher used to swear up and down that we could get minor poisoning from writing on our hands, but I did it all the time in high school with no ill effects. You might just want to buy a planner to write in, though, to be safe and to set up good organizational habits.

If you keep writing on your hand there is a good chance that you may get ink poisoning. Your friends are right, it would be better if you stop. I have the same problem, but I'm gradually getting better at not writing on them

Good Luck!

That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. How could ink contain nicotine.....I've been writing notes on my hand for years and nothing has happened to me. I have a daughter that is 17.

Not the same thing. If you don't have paper how else will you get his phonenumber? I use to write on my body all the time when I was that age.
