Sorry. I was overseas in the British Army at the time; somewhere on the island of Cyprus. We had Cleopatra - the movie, starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton and etc. Off hand cannot think of any other movies of the time. Must have been loads.

Lawrence of Arabia and To Kill a Mocking Bird were probably the two biggest films released that year.

They are still great today.
