He is trying to recreate Vietnam. He is a traitor and has undermined this war effort for a while. It is disgusting

I keep trying to tell young democrats but I don't think they are listening. If Hillary becomes the Commander-in-Chief you will definitely need a draft. Most of the enlistees volunteering to serve are from red states. They do not want to serve under Hillary Clinton. Many career military will want out if she takes over. The democrats know this. That is why it is the democrats that want to bring back the draft. They have even explored the possibility of drafting women, too.

If you are a young person and you don't want to be drafted you should be doing everything you can to make sure a REPUBLICAN gets in as the Commander-in-Chief. You should also be doing everything you can to make sure that the REPUBLICANS are holding the purse strings.

If any of the republicans becomes the next Commander-in-Chief the red states will provide plenty of patriotic men and women to fill the ranks. If a democrat get in who will enlist? Blue Staters? That will be the day.

So are you saying that you know more than the both of them? I think not. Have you even been in the military at all? I have and the enlisted men know more about the working military than the officer stiffs. They went to college and started out as officers. Whoopee, they still don't know about the working of the REAL military. They know only paper work.

Mr Murtha has, unfortunately, gone from brave, fallen war hero - a man of honor and distinction, into something of a clown. It is a shame to see his demise as a person of importance in the war debate .. he has become a shrill extremist who is hell bent on 'redeploying' (that is congress-ese for 'run away!') even if that is a major strategic blunder that will end up costing this country FAR more in the long run.

Leaving Iraq in chaos IS NOT an option.
I realize that in this poll-driven environment, political expedience always takes precedence over moral courage for most of our brave leaders in Washington, but with lives on the line, people like Murtha need to SHUT UP...unless he has a SERIOUS plan to deal with the void left in Iraq by executing his plan of retreat and surrender.

What? a general would know more than a politician. How could that happen? Actually, it has happened more than once and Murtha is not the only guilty person.

He is getting old and rather dotty. Just don't pay any attention to what he says. Nancy is using this senile guy to back up her weird liberal agenda.
