family values is not about what work a woman does, or where a woman goes,,, its about a loving , supportive family, who respects each other, and others in the world,,,,

" Are 500,000 Keys to Paradise Enough?: Germany "Confronts" Ahmadinejad
BY Matthias Küntzel
In pondering the behavior of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, I cannot help but think of the 500,000 plastic keys that Iran imported from Taiwan during the Iran-Iraq War of 1980-88. At the time, an Iranian law laid down that children as young as 12 could be used to clear mine fields. Before every mission, a plastic key would be hung around each of the children’s necks. It was supposed to open for them the gates to paradise.
The “child-martyrs” belonged to the so-called “Basij” movement created by the Ayatollah Khomeini. "

Gee I don't know. when was the last time you heard of anyone in the west strapping on a bomb to go kill some innocents or taking a woman out and shooting or stoning here because she was raped? Does your family values include the father of a girl having her killed because another man forced her to have sex?
Yes the west's family values are 100 times better than any in Muslim countries.

Well I think it depends on where U are from I think in Iran they think that how they raise their kids is best but don't we all think that?I believe that raising my children in the us might not be the best solution I was raised in Germany and must say that its allot child friendlier and better for a family ,in America when you do not earn money for whatever reason you are automatically unable to raise Ur child they become druggies use alcohol and become parents , but in Germany u still get money (well fare )a house for free and all education is free,i know u get welfare in America but its too meager there is a standard in America and if you cannot reach it you might as well back Ur bags.So just think about that.

Tell you what........go send your mother, your daughter, your sister, your wife, your auntie, your grandmother, or any other woman in your life to Iran for a month. When they get back, as how they were treated and if they thinik it's better over there.
FYI: If Sugerbaby (couple posts up) doesn't agree with anything you say, then you know you're on the right track!

Nah, that was just a stab that Ahmedinejad took. Iranian families do tend to be large and close though, with everyone from the children to the grandparents being close together, both geographically and as a family.

I think Admad doesn't appreciate that it was Faye's choice to join the military. And if you think that Iran has respect for family values you should read about how they sent children into battle during the Iran/Iraq war.

women are recommended to commit self homicide. although women in America kill their young. so maybe you are right
people on here only look at Iran's policys on family. what about America? if a woman cannot afford a manicure and a baby, she aborts it and sell its parts. instead of teaching her child basic knowledge (because it starts at home) she insists some stranger called a teacher do that for her. instead of teaching morals, she would rather run off with a boyfriend and keep them at home and then claim she is working. ha!

Yeah. Ever hear of honor killing. Say you pick a husband for your daughter when she is 5. When she is 15 you tell her she is gettign married and she refuses. Well she has shamed the familiy and the men can now legally kill her. Thats a postcard warm and fuzzy moment.
Or say your daughter is raped. You can kill her, another honor killing.
Those are Sharia Family Values - that is what they want world wide.

this guy is a media playing joke. to give him one iota of credit for anything is anti-human. he does this only for the media.i would bet the people being held HOSTAGE are blindfolded when they are off camera or something. lets wait and see what they have to say when they are not under duress, ie gun aimed at you off camera and so on. this gov. had a union leaders tongue sliced lengthwise to make a point to him. as as far as respect family values, in iran a 17 year old and her 14-15 year old cousin were about to be raped by four men and the elder of the two killed one man in self defence. she is now in jail to be stoned to death for killing the man. she must have four other men confirm her rape story or she can not be believed in court. for him to say it is joke and for anyone to believe him is sad and pathetic.

Off course they do.
They don't put their kids into care like we do in the West.
They tie bombs around them and send them out to see the horrible Western people who have no Family Values
