It's not all about age-appropriate, most of it is a question of whether it's size-appropriate.

Absolutely, it's really not what a Woman wears, it's how she wears it. My Mother is over 50 and wears very sexy clothes and she looks good in them!
A Woman over 50 can wear tight fitted jeans, sexy tops and pointy mules as long as she carries herself in a grace full manner. :)

I'm over 50, do not know what 'mules' are, but no tight fitting jeans for me, fit good, but not skin tight, my tops, ahhh, depends on whats going on that day, I'm 5.1 weigh in 106, so I never go baggy, my best is my bibbies and a gypsy top I wear under it, even got my grandbaby, 2 pair of bibbies. Saturday, we went shopping all day, in matching outfits, felt like a queen to have her with me, her baby steps and her holding my hand, let me know what -mules- are please

If they think they look good, then why not. I'm 53, and traded the tight fitting stuff for comfortable. My daughter-in-law is the same size as me, so I gave her all my skimpy tops......
