er... they make more because of they have no choice! they are injected with egg laying hormones (come on! you already knew that!)

They probably have feelings and are motivated by the same things that are a part of me in the morning. They might just have a question in their little minds "Eggs?"
In mine it's "Coffee?"
Motivation for them would just be "More eggs!" for me it's "More Coffee!!"

eggs from the supermarket are not fertile and chickens can only put out quality eggs for 75 weeks, regular feeding and light they are creatures of habit
