MY 2001 altima's one rear wheel is tilted out wards. Doesn't make any noise. turns smoothly. It has only 43000 moles on it.

the camber is messed up .. there is an arm that is used to adjust the camber .. you basically need an alignment and some new parts.. did you hit a big pothole or a curb that will throw the alignment off so badly , even bent a control arm.. or the alignment point became loose from vibrations.
look under there (don't be afraid to get a little dirty) and look at the bad side in comparison to the good side - see if anything is out of shape or a rubber bushing broken/worn .. look for anything loose there - don't be afraid to yank on staff it's made to take serious abuse so if it moves when u touch it .. it might be your problem - think logically ;)

Best have it checked out at a place that can do 4 wheel alignments.

Get it checked out soon. If it's a wheel bearing, you could find yourself stranded on the side of the road. Good luck

those 43000 moles might be a problem lol jk the axel might be bent or broken you can take it to a body shop and have it realined

get a wheel allignment done check wheel bearings or balljoints
