Love isn't what makes the middle East pass around. it fairly is overwhealming rigidity that provides upward push to appreciate and obedience. thus is has been because of the fact the days of Zeus, Yahweh, and Zoroaster. thus it fairly is going to continuously be. Peace interior the middle East is a function of concern. whilst human beings be conscious of that being unpeaceful gets them greased immediately, they arrive to a call that being non violent is a sturdy factor, a fine looking factor, what they continuously needed. Hammurabi had it approximately proper. He knew a thank you to run the middle East. Nebukanezzer became ok on the activity. Mahmed did ok. Oriental despotism occurs interior the middle East, not because of the fact the area is packed with despots, yet because of the fact the area is packed with middle East peoples, who can basically truly stay exact below the corporation hand of despots. Ghengis Khan's international family members worked o.k. interior the middle East. Alexander's became not so undesirable, and Attila the Hun's international family members became superbly valuable -- fairly waiting for primetime -- boffo stuff. Squishy spined creatures created from limp spaggheti areas have by no potential been enjoyed, favorite, feared, obeyed, or been taken heavily interior the middle East, the place words recommend not something, paper agreements even much less, and guy is measured by potential of ways briskly he can get you killed, and the potential by potential of which he's waiting to accomplish that. Hillary may well be a journey for Ahmedinejad yet Buckwheat certainly isn't. If Hillary have been President, she might supply Sistani and Ahmedinjad a ideal pasting -- they might think of that Golda Meir had decrease back, and that they might run like yelping and whimpering curs returned below mattress. Kumbayah Boy might as properly positioned on a clownsuit whilst he is going the the middle East. or perhaps positioned on a Schmooo journey, huge and fluffy and able to punch. Curtis LeMay stated it proper, "Kill the enemy."

the last part shows your opinion.. but oppression just brings a false peace.. the only way to truly bring peace is threw education. I know plenty of people (more than 10 mkay) from the ME.. many of them had a lot of anger for the US when I first met them (mostly due to our stance on Israel) and over time though they have seen the good in the US.. and realized that they can disagree with some of our policy and still find an appreciation for what the US stands for.. now all of them are living here and married lol.

Yes, there's evidence today, in the news, that diplomacy can work. The 15 Brits are being released, 1 Iranian diplomat has been freed by the Iraqi government, and the US will allow an Iranian diplomat to visit the 5 Iranian diplomats that it has in custody for the past 4 months.

Hidden in all the talk about the middle east, is the fact that there are 1.3 BILLION muslims in the world, and if you tick one of them off, you're gonna tick all of them off.
Diplomacy has to be made to work. The middle east is only the tip of the iceberg, but it's a problem now, and it has to be dealt with.
The people that scorn diplomacy overlook the fact that the west (and Russia and China) have been meddling in the affairs of the middle east for at least 100 years. That being the case, we've never taken the time to understand their culture. Before we can negotiate, we must first understand the mindset of those with whom we wish to obtain agreement.

What exactly is the question you ask. The middle east will exist with its people and its problems, just like Europe exists with its people and its problems, just like Africa exists with its people and its problems.
If you want to end Holy wars (Jihads or Crusades..etc) Then i suggest you end religion..Men of faith are always ready to fight in the name of their god. Sad but true. Look at the history of the world.
If you want to end the present Islamic extreme fundamentalists, then the world needs to invest time and money into the area. Lower the unemployment rates, and fund and popularize true and peaceful Islam. Make it more difficult for extremist Muslims to recruit, since the alternative would be the true and peaceful Islam in a stable and secure country.
This will take time, and political will. It may even mean higher gas prices and the political rifts with our (so-called) moderate Arab allies in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Jordan).

If there were a way to eradicate all of the extremists, then diplomacy would have a fairly good chance. Although, that will probably never happen because of two factors. First, radicals have been around since the beginning of time, and haven't been destroyed as of yet. Secondly, currently it is very difficult to distinguish the extremists from the devout, so how could we be sure that they have been extirpated?

o please. would you be saying that so cavaliery if another country were to ask such a question re the United States?
You people fail so pathetically in realizing that the LAND of the Middle East BELONGS to the Middle East. You also fail to realize that theirs is a completely different culture. The US has never put much effort towards teaching about other countries except when speaking of the Spanish/British and then only regarding wars.Other than that, it is as though no other region in the world is important except when something is needed. Then it's full speed ahead towards thievery.
But as we now see and recognize, US "diplomacy" efforts are limited. But you see War is never divine..and because war always was, does not mean it will always be.
I am appalled to learn that there is so much hatred here. I am even more appalled to learn that there are potential murderers right here in this Q&A.

You cannot fully end Jihad. Unless you're willing to partake in ethnic cleansing of over one billion people (the whole Muslim population) you will never completely end Jihad. It's one of the main components of Islam, and while not every (in fact, most don't) Muslim currently believes Jihad should be conducted against the West, eventually they might.

the key to peace in the middle east is to separate religious islam from political islam.
praying 5x per day is religious islam.
seizing UK sailors allegedly for violating borders is political islam.
However, because they have combined both islams, they see every act of political islam as a religious mandate.
And lest you say "Oh, the same thing happens here":
PLEASE find any Supreme Court decision that says "The Justices have read the Bible, and determined that..."
In US, each person's decisions are shaped by their religion (or lack of) - but the government is shaped by recourse to the statutes and the laws.
In the ME, the government is shaped by recourse to the statutes and the laws, but ultimately determined by whichever religious sect holds the political power.

Any diplomatic effort will only be a minor contribution. Success will only be acheived if the people of the region desire to shake off their totalitarian regimes. This is, after all, the crux of the problem. Totalitarian rulers run corrupt regimes and look the other way when jihadists whip the people into a frenzy and blame the west for their own problems...caused by their own rulers. The people in the region seem to respect power more than they do freedom.
