Well there are a lot of events in the American Revolution (believe me I've been looking). I just wanted to know what are some of the MAIN ones, because I only need ten. I'm just asking so that I know what to research futher. If you could just point me to a site, or if you already know some main events your help would be apprieciated.
This is my first time learning about the American Revolution, so I just needed a little bit of help.

Thanks

1. Battle of Bunker Hill
2. Capture of Fort Ticonderoga
3. Valley Forge
4. Battle of Saratoga
5. Battle of Trenton
6. Escape from New York
7. Morristown
8. Battle of Cowpens
9. Race to the Dan
!0. Battle of Yorktown

These are 10 main events. It is certainly not a complete list. #'s 3 & 7 were rough winter camps where the Army almost disbanded due to severe conditions.

#9 is interesting in that Cornwallis dumped most of his baggage to be able to move quickly enough to catch the American forces retreating north. The race was 70 miles in the winter. The Americans won and crossed the river, taking the boats with them. The British showed up 6 hours after the Americans were done crossing. Cornwallis was forced to move to Yorktown, where he eventually surrendered.

#6 isn't a battle, but where the British thought they had Washtington's army trapped and he escaped under the cover of darkness - lived to fight another day.

#2 is big because it supplied the American army with its first decent amount of artillery.

I hope this helps.

Saratoga, Bunkerhill, The Boston Tea Party, The Biritish Seizing of Savannah, Yorktown, The Boston Massacre, The question you ask is rather vague, but I hope this helps you a little. Everyone of the items mentioned above had MAJOR effects on why the war started to how it ended.
