3/4 ton. thats why its called a 3/4 ton truck...If it was a 1/2 ton truck it would carry 1/2 ton.....I overload my 1/2 ton S10 all the time...iv carried 2000,2400 and 2600 lbs of gravel 30 miles. the carrying weight includes the people. look in door jam or glove box door for trucks weight empty and Max loaded weight..
