I'm currently writing a book, i intend it to be your average sized book at about 300+ pages long. How many A4 pages will this equate to on my Microsoft Word?

If the book is a picture book, then maybe about 19 to 25 pages is good. 30 max.
If the book is a chapter book, but for littler kids, probably around 30 to 35 pages.
If the book is for first through second graders, then maybe about 40 to 45 pages.
Third graders and fourth graders should read about 45 to 50 pages.
Fifth graders and 6th graders, 55 to 60 pages.
8th and 7th graders- 65 to 70 pages
9th-10th more than 70pgs, less than 80pgs
11th and 12th should be about 80 pages
If it’s a book about education or something like science, like one of those huge books people have to read in college, then you have a LOONG way to go. Probably like 500 pages.
Hope that helps, and more, hope I'm right!

The pocket books are almost A5 and if you plan to use that book, well about 150 - 200 A4 size pages. But if the book is bigger, then it would be almost same, may be 75 to 80%.

I am a book reviewer and get books of various sizes and various fonts. May be you could look at a book of the size that you have in mind and talk to the publisher.

Unless you intend to self-publish, don't even worry yourself about this. Finish the damn manuscript. A publisher will determine what size book, font, and layout to use for the book. None of that is determined by the author.
