You could start using a name like Allie anytime I would think. I don't think it would be strange since lots of guys have 'feminine' names like Tracy, Leslie, Jody, etc. and lots of guys with names like Paul are called 'Paulie' by their friends even if they're straight. I think you should do it whenever you feel you want to. (This is a straight's opinion, fyi--not sure if that matters.)

Not really sure but I'd think the best time would be when you start with the hormones, etc..or any process that starts the whole transformation...seems to me it'd be better at that time then before as, if you start with the female name too early, it won't mean as much to you..whereas if you start as I suggested, it reinforces your identity a little better...have you decided on an femme name yet? email me if you would, I'd like to know..you may also want to look into numerology with your new name & last name to see what it really means and what it stands for!! Good luck!!

Sexuality isn't gender specific. In our society a woman with incredibly some companions is frowned upon yet a male with many "conquests" is respected. bypass determine. men use the present of "love" to get intercourse. regrettably, some women individuals subject giving intercourse as a contemporary gets love in return. the two might desire to have love for the different and then intercourse will become the present for the two. yet, on occasion an orgasm is purely what the surgeon ordered. the way you get it truly is as much as you.

You could start using a uni-sex name such as Kim or Leslie. Actually Shirley was a boys name until some victorian woman called her girl Shirley and there was a professional wrestler called Shirley Crabtree (Big Daddy)

In private, use it whenever you want... But out an about, I'd leave it till you pass about... 50% of the time before going to the solicitors and making the stat' dec'.
Hope you've chosen something nice.

wait until you're going to transition - if that's what you want to do - or when you're going to live full-time as a woman. until then you can just use a female name - and get some credit cards and stuff issued to that name - its easy, just add the name to some existing accounts.

It is better to change your name after you officially become a woman (if you're undergoing an operation).

Do it as soon as you transition, and go with whatever name you please, but make it normal, like Natalie, Sarah, not something exotic as it may cause more problems. I did it about 3 weeks before i transitioned, so i could get things ready.
