Kurt Vonnegut was the author of SLAUGHTER HOUSE FIVE in which he used the 'axis of time' or non-linear progression to tell his story.

In other words, author Kurt Vonnegut jumpled up his story line: he put the middle in the beginning, the end in the middle, and the beginning at the end. It is a technique where you don't know what's going on until the very end and it all becomes clear. Quentin Tarantino did the same thing in his movie: Pulp Fiction.

Kurt Vonnegut also wrote: The Monkey House.

Kurt Vonnegut was all the rage in the 1970s.

Kurt Vonnegut is the 20th century's answer to Mark Twain. He is funny, satirical, and very caustic. He may be closer to Jonathon Swift than Twain in his disgust toward his fellow man. Start with "Slaughterhouse 5" and then read on from there. He is not everyone's cup of tea.

Kurt Vonnegut is a science fiction author. He wrote "Harrison Bergeron"-- a short story-- and at the moment, I cannot remember what else he wrote, but he is quite famous. I just remember "Harrison Bergeron", because I read it in high school and later found out that it was made into a play.

A great science fiction writer. Pick up one of his books and give it a shot. You'll find politics, love, suspense and good writing. I know that many people just post links to Wiki and pretend to be experts on everything, but that will tell you nothing. You owe it to yourself to read at least one of his books.
