i have 1 ancistrus in my 60 litre aquarium but i want another one are they agresive and how big will it get in my 60 litre aquarium i also have 8 guppies and 4 neons will getting another one be a problem do i have the space and how do i tell if its a male or female.thanks alot

Many of the Ancistrus species are aggressive toward conspecifics(fish of the same species) and are best kept as single individuals,the exception would be a breeding pair.

Ancistrus come in every size you can imagine pretty much, so it's really impossible to say unless you know specifically which one you have. Here's a link with good photos you can use to hopefully figure out which one you have. The site also has very good info on catfish and can tell you all you need to know once you have a good idea of the specific fish you have. Hope this helps
