When Amampour was asked for her analysis of why Ahmadinejad granted amnesty. . . . She, in all her Liberal Love-Fest Rationale, said " I think he was trying to show his love for Christians because this is Holy Week for the Christians and Easter is this Sunday" . She went on to say that this was a 'gift' from him to the Christians !!!! . . . . HOGWASH !!

CNN is the most biased liberal network out there. If you watch their foreign broadcasts ever you would think you were watching Terrorist TV Live. They do hate america and this nut in Iran is just knowing he was about to go under fire from the Brits and his coaliton of evil would be toppled by the mullahs or the people.

I had a guy offer me a bible once and told him I am waiting for the first coming of Christ --He said " oh you will never understand "-- That's why I abandoned this holy nonsense- I understand --The new Christics are eager to spread the myth ?? Liberals will believe ANYTHING that the Communist News Network states. Remember that CNN is owned by Ted Turner, a man who once called Christians 'Jesus freaks'.
He was also married to another looney lib by the name of Jane Fonda.
CNN is a joke, but liberals will continue to take it seriously. It makes one realize just why FOX NEWS is only about ten years old yet leaves the rest of those fake news networks in the dust.

I think its very early for ANY news commentary on the actions proposed by Iran. It is irresponsible. We have no understanding, yet, as to the motives behind the capture or the release, and only reporting of factual events should be tolerated.
CNN is responsible to report the news...not comment upon it. There are shows on that network whose job it is to comment and analyze the news...but reporting should be just that...reporting!

I just got to work.. all I heard was on NPR them saying that amidinjassface was saying he released them as a gift.. was CNN saying that this is what HE meant it as.. or were they saying THEY think it's him showing his love?
Edit: eh, it's pretty plain to see to me that this whole thing has been for attention.. and now he gets to look good to the ME by giving his troops medals and letting the 15 go as a gift to Britain.. it's just more politics.. I said from the start nothing would happen to the 15.. they were just pawns in his game and you can't have a game without the pawns... and with the way he played it no one can legally invade him for it.. he's crazy.. but he's not stupid.
P.S. Anyone who thinks that man loves anyone but himself is just as crazy as he is :) but it's still a free country.. they can think what they want.

You mean after the British who controlled and abused the arabs for decades and allowed them to be free and establish their own leaders because terrorism worked back then .
Robbing travelers and killing Rich British families made living in the conquered lands less attractive . To maintain a british army all over the world became less popular as Australia opened up and many poor working class brits relocated . They could no longer hold control over the arabs India and china so they let them be free .
I have to laugh at that mentality that somehow the capyured soldiers are not a negotiating tool that has served the arab world for many years . You can only exploit people for so long till they fight back .

I suspect it was reported in a bit different fashion than you are stating... It is great Iran is releasing the prisoners, eases a little pressure in an already hot area. That is not a liberal or conservative issue.
