Can you help me understand te concepts of 'Super conductors' and 'Nuclear Fission',...please?

Superconductivity refers to the flow of electrical current through certain materials so easily that the electrical resistance of the material is, for all practical purposes, zero. It is useful, well known, but not well understood. The proposed explanations are not simple. It was first discovered in some metals like lead at temperatures near absolute zero. It was later achieved in some ceramic materials at much higher temperatures.

Certain heavy atoms, such as uranium 235, are unstable. Fire a neutron at one, and it is likely to split into smaller atoms, releasing some of its bonding energy and more neutrons. If you have enough of this material (critical mass) packed close together, these released neutrons find other U235 atoms to collide with, releasing yet more energy and more neutrons. With enough mass and density, it is enough to sustain a chain reaction. In a controlled environment like a fission reactor, the reaction is maintained at a steady rate, and we get a clean, economical energy supply. In an uncontrolled environment, it is an atomic bomb.

i can explain fission quickly! :)
you see there are elements with higher nucleon number whose nucleas are not so stable..so they prefer to "split" into elements having lesser mass...which releases alot energy
for example when a high speed neutron is hit to a uranium nucleas..it splits to give krypton,xenon and alot of energy..concept in bombs? power!

Nuclear fusion is the opposite one to this & fusion is the
process that happened in the bomb that was dropped on Japan.
