He admitted to doing cocaine. He admitted to desecrating the ashes of his father. I think that if you confess to a crime that you have committed, do not pass go, go directly to jail. To those of you who don't know the story; he mixed his father's ashes with cocaine and snorted them for a high.

Then by the same token, all the mentally unbalanced people who admit to crimes should also go to jail, is this right? Over 150 people admitted to killing JFK, some of them weren't even born then! Do we send them to jail because they SAY they did it?
Just because someone admits to some action does not mean that the law is bound to take them to court AND convict them.

I didn't figure that he would still be alive after all the stuff that he has done over the years, Plus I don't think jail is the answer. He is a millionaire there fore in there he woudn't be punished.

If he had admitted to it soon afterwards, yes, go to jail. Now, I doubt that it would do any good.
