I would rather keep my eye sight. I know how to read lips and can do sign language. You can do so much more with your eyes than with your ears. I have thought about this before because I am half deaf. I couldn't imagine not being able to see. I love to see smiles, flowers, children, etc.

That's a tough one. My first impulse is to let go of my hearing. Yet, when I really think about it, I don't think I could. If I lost my vision, sure I would miss seeing things like sunsets, mountains, my children's faces. Movies, oh how I'd miss seeing movies. But I know I wouldn't want to spend the rest of life not hearing music, my children laughing, rain drumming against the windows, the call of a loon.
I would adjust to not having my sight. I hate driving anyway, and I know many sightless people "see" faces with their hands (though seeing is not the correct term, it's hard to describe in sighted terms). I could still hear movies, music, laughter, everything. And, having been born a sighted person, I could envision it all in my mind. I prefer darkness anyway, though I'm quite certain that sitting in a darkened room is very different from not having sight.
I would spend my last little while with sight staring at the people I love, and then let it go.

I think about that a lot. Hard to choose. On the hand if I go blind I can still listen to music and communicate with other people in anormal way but on the other hand if I go deaf I'll be able to see things and know what my children look like and husband and so forth. I don't know. I geuss I would leave it up to fate although I would really prefer both hearing and seeing.

I would choose eye sight so I could 'make believe' the sounds around me by their sights.

Eye sight for sure. There would be a lot less adjustment. It is a good question though. If you were deaf you could still read ( a lot easier) Then again, I've seen brail on drive through ATM's, I never figured that one out.

I would rather have my sight. I may not be able to hear my loved ones voices, but I could see them and learn sign language so I would still be able to communicate with them.

Eyesight, because you will be able to do all your stuff and see the world & won't have to rely on someone to take care of you all the way.
And you can learn sign language easily if cant hear.. But if blind, will take years to learn and will cost you a lot also.. Ever sec you will need someone to guide you.
