No this doesn't make you a liberal, despite what some Busholohlics will say. You are entitled to your opinion, and alot of republicans are also trying to seperate themselve from Bush...yes Frye is an awful quarterback...(Browns fan too) and would never admit to being a Steelers fan =P

Hi Brother,
Well, it all has to do with the extreme right wing bush backers rules of engagement.
When a right winger does not have a good argument or they cannot justify their beliefs with evidence and proof, they revert to the following childish tactics of:
LYING - DENYING - ACCUSING - AND NAME CALLING.
You will never find a right bush backer who can and will present a sound argument on backing bush, so they will always revert to the above tactics, which were learned in grade school.
They fall into the Yah, Yah, Yah, category.
So in summary, you are not a liberal, you are the victim of the name calling tactic, which is supposed to make you stop being such a meanie and just go away and not disagree with their belief that bush is a star and their mentor.
In closing what we have here is a bunch of little chimps following the big chimp, you know, . . .chimps of a feather, flock together!
Good question,
Darryl S.

It doesn't make you a liberal. I fear that most hard line conservatives have the attitude that if you don't agree with them, you are a liberal.
They have taken the term liberal and tried to make it a bad thing to be. Basically, they use the term to degrade anyone who thinks differently. They don't realize that most people in the U.S. are middle of the road and not on the right OR left.
I personally am socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I also am not a Dubya fan. He is inept, and no matter what conservatives say, history will judge him as one of our worst presidents.

Because when your viewpoint differs from right wing heroes like Limbaugh or Hannity then you are a Liberal. Most of the people that label you a liberal have such blind faith in bad leadership and consider that stance patriotic. They have no sense of American values set forth by the founding fathers of this country.

I think what it makes you is an informed, intelligent individual who DOES NOT take his rights for granted and remains committed to a process (IE: the right to vote) even though you have been let down. Sounds like someone who appreciates how good we really do have it here in the good ole U.S. of A.! Even when it's bad, we still have it pretty damn good.

If you voted for the likes of Gore and Kerry that does make you an inept liberal. Bush is doing a fantastic job BTW.

Being a Liberal is not a bad thing, it just shows you as being
intellectually dishonest. Voting for Kerry and Gore, just proves the point. Hatred for America, was the basis of the platform, for those two. I choose to Support my Country.

Is being a liberal such a bad thing to be? I don't think it is like being called an obscene name. I am a liberal and dang proud of it. Call me liberal all the time, I don't mind one bit.

It doesn't.
The hardline extremist right wingers will say you are, because they label anyone who disagrees with them as a "liberal," because in their mind, being a liberal is the worst possible thing you can be... and you're not allowed to disagree with them.
Love the President, hate the President... I don't care. Just be able to back up your argument with something other than, "it's unpatriotic not to support the President." You know?
