Where do liberals think that all this money comes from????

Liberals seem to be all about the government throwing money at EVERYONE who is too irresponsible or too uneducated to take care of themselves....please note, I am not talking about the elderly who have worked their entire lives or those who CAN'T. Huge difference between CAN'T and WON'T.

Where do they think that all of this money comes from???

Will they not be happy until the government takes our entire paycheck and redistributes it to those who will not be responsible and take care of themselves?

Before some of you go on about me being greedy or selfish, I DO give to LOCAL charities, my husband and I sponsor 3 children in Honduras, as well as volunteer work.

Who are THEY to tell me who I should help out? Where do they think that this money comes from? Is there a special tree that I am not aware of?

Would liberals love me more if I had 5 children out of wedlock, got on welfare and became addicted to drugs?

Its inetresting that many (not all) liberals talk about having religion, pregnancy etc FORCED upon them, then turn around and want to force chairty upon everyone else.

I like my paycheck and wouldl like to keep as much of it as possible. Many people, including myself already give to chairty on our own.

First let me say thanks for contributing to Charity. I do think there needs to be programs for the less fortunate, they are not all lazy uneducated people. Many of those people have fallen on hard times esp of late, and don't have the oppurtunites that the upper class have. If you are talking about spending the Republican White House and Congress have spent more than any other goverment in Hisotry, Our National debt was being paid down, not much but it was being paid on, now we have increased it tremendously. We had a balanced budget with a surplus even...and now we have the deficit again. I don't understand where you are coming from with this "who are they to tell me to help out?" they aren't asking you to do anything...this country has more poverty now than in the last 30 plus years, the middle class is being wiped out, heavan forbid someone should watch out for these people.

You are kidding right. Have you not seen the spending habits of the current administration? They have effectively DOUBLED the national debt in 6 years. They run around a 1 billion dollar deficit daily and by Fall, without any intervention from foreign investments will be unable to continue funding the war they started. Effectively right now the conservative republican government is running out of money.

There is a massive difference between being a fiscal conservative and being fiscally liberal. The current administration is infinitely more liberal than any other administration with regards to finance, the only difference is that the American public does not benefit from this.

It all comes down to this:

They want your money in their pockets.

If they can force giving to charity, well that means they gotta pay someone to make sure you did, which they'd make up by raising taxes, meaning more $$$ for them.

Example: They make everyone give $20 a month to charity. Then, they raise taxes an extra dollar to pay for the salary of the people hired to make sure everyone gives. Now, let's say we had exactly... 10 million people, for an easy number. That's $10 million, minus let's say, $1 for all the salaries in a month. So they pocket $9 million. They make everyone give to the " needy " and end up all the richer themselves, so they can blow it on smear campaigns against Bush because they have nothing better to do than to yell all kinds of crap then complain to use that he's not doing his job, despite the fact they won't let him JUST SO they can complain he's not doing it.

I'm gonna stop there before I go into a long-winded ranting fit.

Most of them are either super rich from being a "celebrity" (think Demi and Ashton) or don't pay taxes (think welfare recipients) so they don't care where the money comes from. People who don't struggle for a paycheck and then see most of it taken away in taxes to give handouts to women crapping another baby out every nine months don't have a clue!

Don't you conservatives remember that money & environmental circumstances have a BIG impact on your opportunities in life, and the life choices that you end up making????
