Actually, you just can't set them free,,
it always come back once in a while no matter it's bad ones or good ones. You just can't neglect them.
Because it's not you, who cling to memories, it's the memories that cling with you forever.

I cling to my memories because it comforts me. Even though I know I should set them free; because it is an unhealthy habit. It just makes me feel better when I have a bad day to remember the good times.

Cling. I can't help it. I'm almost obsessive about my good memories. I dissect them and they're with me every day. My bad memories, on the other hand, don't come out too often. They just torture me in a few occasions.
