....by looking @ their shoes? My friend told me that, and we both looked at our shoes, hers being some Jimmy Choo strap heels, mine being some beat-up high tops.
She said thats proves I'm lazy and easygoing, and she's classy.

True?

I think so. I also think that of clothes. The obsessiveness of shoes could indicate a problem. One who has more shoes than most people would wear in a lifetime, I think have serious problems. Your friend is insecure. She needs attention from anyone who will give it to her. There is a difference between Classy and Slutty. You are not lazy, just more secure and adjusted to life. You do not have to impress any one, just yourself. I would take the High tops over the Choo choo straps any day. There is a time and a place for everything. I hate to wear suits and cruel shoes, But sometimes I have to. If my picture shows, that is me at my best and most comfortable. Note: cut off jeans and "T" shirt. and a pair of "new" K- mart walking shoes. LOL

Yes, to a certain degree. The name brand is not as necessarily important the quality and the way the person cares for the shoes. For example, I can buy an expensive pair of name-brand shoes , but if I don't take care of it then it would look like cheap trash. Or I can buy a less expensive pair of shoes, take real good care of it and people will be surprised when I tell them how little it cost. Having money to buy expensive stuff doesn't necessarily mean that a person has class. It's a matter of personal pride and dignity.

in some ways, yes.. in other ways, no..

if someone isnt wearing shoes, u dont know... it might be that theyre too poor to afford shoes, or they could be rich but just dont want to wear them (eg britney spears).

if someone is wearing worn out shoes that are old and breaking apart it doesnt necessarily mean they cant afford to buy a new pair, it could mean that they find the shoes comfortable and choose to wear it / or they have worn it for so long that they keep doing it, kind of like a habit

I suppose if someones wearing expensive shoes theyre probably rich, but u never know, maybe someone who isnt rich or poor either could be wearing them, u never really know, but i guess that person would be rich.

u cant tell much about a person by their shoes, the richest person in the world could wear beat-up shoes if they want, if its comfortable then why not??! shoes dont mean everything y'know!!

the only way u can find out about a person is looking inside them, what theyre really like deep down, not by their shoes!!

No. She's full of it. I am lazy. My shoes number in the hundreds and I have every color of the rainbow to suit my moods. I admit my bedroom is a total mess with all the clothes and shoes because I am lazy, but my shoes are fantastic!! They always have been, even when I was a little girl.

So I am lazy and disorganized and my shoes ROCK and ALWAYS WILL!!!! @8-) Don't listen to her advice concerning Anything!!

lol it is so true. laidback and easygoing people usually do wear sneakers or high tops and stuff like that and high maintenance people who are always worried about impressing people tend to wear jimmy choo's and stuff but your friend's comment was kinda rude though.

Typically, its true, but in your case I would not fault you for it. I like comfort more than class. I feel better in a pair of my thong sandals than a high class shoe that costs a fortune, anyways.

Look at what other people wear and who you are attracted to. It is true, what you wear on your feet says a lot about you.....

Take a look.........................

No I live in my trainers, not because I want to it's because I drive,
I'd love to wear my black River Island boots but it's dangerous to drive in those.
It shows that she's silly spending all that cash
You are the sensible one
Is she lacking in self confidence and the shoes are compensating I wonder ??
