Guriko is a snack company that produces children's caramels, and cookie biscuits that come with a free toy (sort of like Cracker Jacks in the U.S.)

Also in Osaka, there is a HUGE neon light-up of the running "guriko" man that spans the entire side of an office building.

They spell it a little different, but they pronounce it the way you wrote it. But I would have to say the snack food company also.

It's Glico.. that's all I know.in japanese..guriko..chocolate bars..etc..
