I would cure illness. I've seen too many wonderful people die of cancer long before their time.
In response to the overpopulation thing, it's easier than having people suffer and die, STOP having kids. I know I'm doing my part. Voluntary free sterilization for all classes. Forced temporary birth control until the age of 25, so a couple can make a more intelligent informed decision on procreation. It is really a selfishness issue, I WANT A BABYYYYYYYY. Then, WAAA my baby is growing up, I WANT another one WAAA.

I'd say war. Ilnesses as sad as they can be and i dont wish anyone ill, keep the population down. Stand complains that smoking kills so many people a year. I dont smoke but how much more overcrowded would the world be if they didnt die? This and among other things ( car accidents, riding an elevator, walking, etc) as well as illness keep our population to a minimum. So i dont see as it's really a horrible thing...then again if i had something life threatening i might feel different.

That is a difficult question. But I would chose illness. Wars have been a part of living since the start of time, in my opinion, wars are mans animal instinct. If you watch animals long enough you will see they fight often. Over their territory, the opposite sex, and some just cause they can. Humans have wars over territory and stuff like that.

Blight or anger, seems God has that kind of power to 'cure' both, but he gave us free will. The free will to 'evolve' even though it is contrary to physics, and the free will to kill each other, even though we seem to think that everyone is a good person. Even though everyone is evolving into a better person, we still have the same illnesses as since were recorded in the Bible.
Makes you think, yes? There are no new sins under the sun. What happened with Cain happens now, what happens with diseases now, happened then. My pick would that all people would choose God as their savior, more importantly, Jesus Christ who died for everyone's sin, past, present, and future. But I am just ideallistic that way. (oh, and intolerant, hateful, and conspiracy filled, by present media.) lol

I would choose to stop all wars. If we knew for certain there would never be another war then all the money needed to maintain armed forces worldwide could be spent on medical issues. It could be a win-win situation. The cost for USA in Iraqis 240 billion a day.
