I think they do.

But I have a better idea for Nancy. She should return the states, collect Rosie O'Donnell, Jane Fonda and some other liberal looneys and go back over there.....to live.

Apparently you care, or you wouldn't have your panties in a bunch over this.

Nancy is third in line to the presidency, and is an elected leader of the majority party in our legislature. As such, she represents the party that the majority of Americans most recently decided to put in charge of Congress.

Having said that, she knows that her direct role on foreign policy is limited, but she can serve as a conduit to help start discussions. Also, part of what she is doing is trying to help out with the situation between Israel and Syria, not necessarily set policy for the U.S.

Apparently Israel thinks she can make a difference, because their Prime Minister approves of what she's doing.

This is a pretty common thing, as illustrated by the fact that three Republican Congressmen were just there and visiting with Assad.

It's only a big deal because, in usual hypocritical fashion, the Republicans want to make hay out of it because it is Pelosi. If they had as strong and as public rebukes for their own members doing exactly the same thing, they might have some credibility now.

It looks like you still haven't realized that the "majority of Americans" haven't had a real say in American politics in a long, long time.

May be Nancy Pelosi will help a little in reclaiming power away from the corruption brokers.

There were actually 3 Republicans over there when Pelosi visited.

3 > 1

I'm sure I'll have to repeat this a dozen times today when one moron after another tries to bash Dems about Pelosi's trip to Syria.

I don't think syria cares one way or another...nancy pelosi is a representative of the legislative branch of the government...you know, the three branches...created to protect the people?......she's doing her job...not everyone has to agree....."you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all the people all of the time"....
