That in the UK people have been whinging about the cold and now when the suns out people are wafting themselves with bits of paper and gulping loads of water and saying the office is too hot?! lol, are people just never happy?!

It's one of the few good things us Brits are good at- moaning about the weather (which is gorgeous today) as well as queueing and offering cups of tea for any crisis/bad news.

Complaining is a socially acceptable form of conversation, it's culturally historic.
Remember how we are well known for talking aobut the wheather when we have nothing to talk about. You think we ever say anything good about it when we do that? Complaining is thought to find a link of something people can dislike together and strengthen social bonds.

I've not heard anyone moaning about the weather for a very long time. Our climate is so much better than it has ever been so I see no reason to complain.

hehe yes, it is always the way. I'm sure they are really always wishing for a comfortable in-between type temperature! =D
And besides, the weather is always a good topic of conversation when you can't think of what else to say!
