I think new theories come up when some people want to do research work and prove a point. Have seen it happen in other fields. As for Mumtaz's name. All know it was a title given to her; It was not her real name. Neither was Noor Jahan a real name. About the rooms: There should be some sanctity for the dead. They contain the real Tombs. The Govt. and the Archaeological Dept so know what those rooms contain. Many Muslim monuments were built on Hindu temple sites. That is possible.

Actually Shahjahan was an emperor of that much vast empire and having wealth under his control. So, he was able to do that.
But, it cannot be compared with the true love. Shahjahan might be built it to show his pride. There are real lovers (husband - wife)
I have seen many who created charitable trust on their wives name.

Sure! Why not? Are there not similar men fond of their mates?
The way people express their undying love may be in other ways, of course.
It could be a Super-specialty Hospital, a unique multiplex movie theatre, a University, or a glittering new Museum that men may build and dedicate in memory of their wives.

I have been around for 68 years and I haven't heard or seen anything like it since the Taj Mahal was built..........

2days shahjahan's (husband's) have learnt from history. they will not do it, inspite of howmuch they love their wives oouch wife.
