I do. "Djinn" means "Spirit", and the concept is of Arabian descent, mentioned in the Koran. However, they are just that- Spirits, and are equal to what we call Spirits, Ghosts, or Possessive Beings- the non-corporeal ones that have yet to move on from our world. They are ghosts, or beings, that hate Iron, and are of smokeless fire. In traditional sense, they are to be feared, and in ancient times, they would be asked permission before someone would do something.

So maybe a Djinn in its traditional sense would not be able to possess a human, but Spirits definitely CAN. If you let your guard down and have a weak mind, it's easy to influence it. Full possession is something I'm not sure about, but for short periods of time, certainly something can overtake you if you let it.
