Lent is the 40 days before Easter. So on Easter day it ends. If you don't know when lent ends, then maybe you don't know what lent is all about. Are you even a Christian?

Lent is the 40-day season of preparation for Easter that ends on Holy Thursday, three days before Easter Sunday. During Lent, Catholics recall their baptism and do penance – fasting, prayer, and almsgiving as they commemorate the death and resurrection of Christ.

My Catholic wife says it's the 40 days before easter, but she also says Sundays don't count in there, so you can eat your Chocolate on Sundays even during lent.

This coming Sunday is Easter. That is the end of Lent--when Jesus was reborn--and you could be too.
Why do you already have your eggs?

The forty days of lent begin on Ash Wednesday, and last until Holy Saturday noon. The Sundays alone are not fasting days.

I think Holy Thursday is still Lent, and Good Friday isn't.
(But you can't really eat the chocolate on Good Friday, can you? Hang in there!)
