it was 10 cents a gallon back in Ike and 99 cents in Clinton years, so Clinton was 10 times worse president than Ike?

What does the stock market have to do with me??? If wages are down, if my job is in China or India and I have taken a cut in pay because my "new created job" pays 1/3 of the old one; if my company has negotiated down wages with my union; if I am struggling to decide whether to buy health insurance or try to save up for a car so I can get a better job, since public transit is virtually nonexistent where I live -- I should be excited because the ceo who cut my job or the white collar flunkie who negotiated my pay cut in the name of productivity, is gonna increase his net worth? Frankly my darlin' I do not give a dam!!

Stock prices are a lousy economic indicator. Any high school economy class will teach you that. Have a look at mortgage foreclosures and unenployment. If anything the economy is just as luke warm as it's been for years.
