No it is not weird to not like being hugged. I know one man who when he first started coming to the church I was at he didn't like to be hugged by anyone other than family and he said one time that he missed his hug from another lady at our church because he said she was so loving. You are just out of your comfort zone and so don't worry about it.

No- when I was young the only time my parents touched me was to punish me , so now I freeze up whenever I get hugged

I literally get chest-pain when some people hug me, I don't know why! But I would never tell them that!

I hate being hugged when I don't feel like it. and that's most of the time I'm awake.
