I had my second baby 6 months ago an since then i have only been gettin my period maybe every 2 months. My periods were normal before i had my children. I had cervical cancer about 3 years ago and i was also told then that i had cysts on my left ovary. Could this be a cause? Or what else would it be?

Firstly I'm sorry to hear you had cervical cancer, but glad to hear that you beat it and you were able to have a baby.

Womens cycles are often not quite normal after having a baby, and cysts can also cause irregular periods, but in view of your previous medical history I would go and seek an experts opinion.

Wishing you lots of luck!

Yes, it could possibly be PCOS but thyroid problems can also mess with one's period.

I would recommend having your dr evaluate the situation to see what could be causing the problem.
