We have to run a fund raiser to raise money for a charity of our choice. Any ideas? Most people are doing a food based fund raiser such as hot dogs or chinese food. Id rather do somthing different. It must me an event in which we promote as we are Business students majoring in Marketing.
Thank you for all your input!

Ask the students and faculty and the community to participate with donations.....
Make sure all items are clean and working.
Ask community to join in the sale and register with the college to donate a percentage of their sales.
MAKE SURE ON CAMPUS ALL ITEMS ARE CATEGORIZED ie; hair electrical, cooking electrical, clothing by size, miscellaneous according to what it is such as all flower pot and vases together.
Make sure it is priced to sell and have dealers will to bid on everything that's left over so you don't have to pack it off your self.........Or donate to Salvation Army (they help many )

People LOVE yard sales and with good advertising people will travel quite a long distance for something major.
Make sure you have plenty of people that KNOW HOW to make change in their head.
If you do this .........
Good Luck! Have fun and make lots of $$$$$$$$$

Hmm. If there are hot girls on your team, a car wash is always fun. You are vague on what you have to promote, but you can always make up t-shirts and flyers to pass out. I get t-shirts at customink.com, they are quite reasonable.

How about a kissing booth, one dollar per kiss. Use the hottest men and women. How hard would that be to market?
