why are nearly all sales assistants bloody miserable ,especially in clothes shops.?

i think they think it is their buisiness, but it is not they are just paid to serve but why do they always look pissed off, because i think they are rude .

Crap wages, the fact that they usually have to work weekends and Bank Holidays, and mainly the fact that they just don't want to be there at all, they're only there for beer and cigarette money.

Because they just heard that they will have to work over the Easter Bank Holiday ??

If you want better service, shop some-where that pays it's staff more than the minimum wage and gives them some training - for example, M&S, Waitrose etc.
