to me, a career is more about the general subject of what you are doing, rather then the actual employment you have at the time,,,,,,, it reflects your interest
such as teaching, as a career,,,,, you enjoy it, you train for it,,,,, you teach during your life, even if at different schools,,,

a job is more just what you are doing at the moment,,,,, you dont really have an expectation of doing that type work for all of your life,,,,,,,,, though some jobs can develop into careers

A job is simply work, a place where you go eight hours per day, five times a week; you might not like it and you might have no chance to improve, to advance, etc. Just work.

A career is when you like your job, when you are recognised for your work, you have success, you get promoted, you have ambitions. You can make your job a career if you're ambitious and the environment is encouraging. You can make a job out of making career which I personally despise. Then you might forget what your work was about in the first place :).

Job means any work you take up because you need it. Career is a job you pursue after a lot of hard work, it's something you want to do and would like doing. A job on the other hand can refer to any work you are doing whether you like it or not!

Career is the product of education and work performance which is being seen in the world of work and job development whereas job is related to competencies required in performing a task or position or post. Job is the cluster of work related task.

A job is what you do to make money. The term, 'career' refers to professional development and promotion. The salary, especially when you've just taken on the position, is not necessarily the main motivation.

But Job is different job is way to earn more and more money to make our life best but there is no mental satisfaction.

A job is at a lower level. A career is at a professional or executive level, where the self-aspirations are quite high.

To me its as simple as this:
a job = you work to live
career = you live to work!

In other words - a job is just for the money, a career is a lifestyle, doing something you enjoy and are good at - where you are your 'job', it defines you.
